What is A-ledD about?

 

• A-ledD is specifically about helping people who want to find a leader-follower dynamic in their dating lives for Male-led and Female-led Dating, where people can choose whether they want to be a leader or follower (or versatile as well if you want to be neither!).  But it doesn’t mean for example Followers can’t contact and date Followers(!), so there’s a lot of flexibility with this.

 

Who is A-ledD Dating app aimed at?

• Anyone is free to join A-ledD as it is an inclusive online dating app, but it will be aimed at anyone who is looking for a Female-led Dating and Male-led Dating dynamic.

 

What is Female-led and Male-led Dating?

​

• This is where the woman or man takes the lead in the dating relationship.  This could include but is not limited to where the woman or man is the decision maker, initiates and plans dates, and is proactive in leading in the dating relationship. 

 

Are there other dating apps that cater for Female and Male-led Dating?

 

• There are, but the vast majority of them are too fixated on the fetish market and consequently end up being more of a marketplace than a dating community, with individuals trying to find their next client instead of their next date!

• A-ledD will no doubt appeal to the non-vanilla community given it’s a dynamic orientated dating app, but it also allows everyone regardless of whether they are from a vanilla or non-vanilla community to use the app in a safe, inclusive environment.  That also means if people want female or male led dating, but they think of themselves as being vanilla, then they can be comfortable in joining A-ledD.  That is very important!

• Secondly, A-ledD is different in that all users are treated the same regardless of gender or what role they take, i.e. a leader or follower, so all users have the same functionality and features available to them.

 

What else is different about A-ledD compared to the other dating apps?

• Unlike a lot of other dating apps, there are no bios or interests’ sections.  It's about encouraging people to find out more about each other and ideally meet up in person to see if there's a spark as opposed to being stuck behind a screen.  Picture this.  Have you ever read someone’s dating bio and/or seen their interests, and thought they are a potentially perfect partner, and when you meet, they well…weren’t?!  See, proves the point then about dating bios and interests being just noise at the end of the day.  Plus, we’re all done with dating bio cliches as well!  It’s about intentional dating!

 

How does the A-ledD App work?

• You sign up to the app either through the Progressive Web Application (PWA) or the Google Play Store.

 

• As part of the sign-up process, you will need to age verify yourself to ensure you are over 18 years of age in order to comply with the UK Online Safety Act 2023.

 

• Once the age verification process is completed, you will get access to the app's features.
